5. Pledge Class Name?
Lambda #LambdaRevolution hahaha

6. Fraternity Nickname, if you remember it?
Mad Eye

7. Story behind how you got your nickname, if you remember it?
My Big is a fan of Harry Potter books and movies, plus I was born with a vision impairment that causes my eyes to shake constantly, equals my nickname. Mad Eye

8. Your fondest memory of being a Phi Psi?
There are a too many to mention, but the one standing out right now was the morning, day, night, next morning, well the whole weekend that we won Greek Cup. It was my first year and last year, living in the 411 House. We knew we had pretty good chances of winning going into the award ceremony, but weren’t a hundred percent. Everything, from the tailgating before the football game, and ceremony, winning the award, to celebrating for the rest of that weekend with active brothers, brothers from other chapters, alumni, friends, strangers that just showed up. Oh and who could forget our spur of the moment parade showing off our trophy to the whole campus and Greek Row. It was an all around unforgettable weekend.

9. Your most embarrassing moment as a Phi Psi?
Unfortunately, like my previous answer there are way too many to mention. Most of them involving persons of the opposite gender. To name a few; The Tracys, Red Jaguar, The Grenade, TSocks, STD, no it wasn't because she had an STD, give me some credit. To my defense my pledge brothers were just as guilty.

10. Your proudest moment as a Phi Psi?
Hard to say, I find that there are many times since joining that I find myself proud to be a brother. Sometimes it’s something as small as sharing the grip with someone, and other times a little deeper and hit home a little more. For example when my mother passed away, brothers traveled from all over to be there during the funeral, not only for myself but for my family as well.

11. Any unique memories from your time as a Phi Psi?
Ha, I don’t think there was a single moment while living in the fraternity house that couldn’t be described as unique. Richard Allen Pearsall the III can attest to that. Pet squirrel, Burnham living off of stale Wawa rolls, Ricky going to his first 2 classes with his clothes on backwards, Juan and his practical jokes, DWhite, White Cheddar Mac n Cheese, the old sailor that smelled like shit(prob still in the house) ;), and there was Josh...

12. Any fraternal advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
Enjoy it, soak it up, and don’t let the opportunity pass you by. I got to meet so many people, travel places I didn’t think I’d ever go, learn lifelong skills, and things about myself I didn't know. Just participate in anyway you can, and be active.

13. When was the last time you visited Rowan or the chapter?
It’s been far too long. 2011 I believe was the last time for my brothers Graduation.

14. What is favorite event the chapter holds?
Initiation and Homecoming

15. Who's the 1 brother you want to reconnect with / see interviewed here?
William Henry Lettermen, haven’t heard a thing from that guy for quite some time now.

16. Name 1 friend you made in NJE you still keep in touch with…
Too many of them. So I’ll go with pledge brothers Richard Allen Pearsall III and Erik W. Mathisen. Half of the infamous Lambda Six.

Career Stuff:
17. Year you graduated from Rowan?
2009

18. Degree(s) you graduated Rowan with?
BA in Radio/TV/Film

19. Any advanced degrees or certifications you have?
A+ certified

20. Your current occupation?
IT Specialist at Lindenwold School District

21. Number of years in that occupation?
Still in my first year here. Previously worked at Apple for 4 years.

22. Any career advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
Failure is inevitable, don’t get discouraged and learn from it. Find something you love doing, and somewhere that makes you happy. The rest will all fall in line. If it doesnt feel right to you, sometimes you just have to walk away.

23. What's one piece of advice you'd give every undergraduate about networking?
Look at every opportunity as a chance to network. People that I know have landed me almost 90% of the interviews, internships, and jobs that I’ve had.

Relationships/Family/Personal Stuff:
24. Are you currently in a relationship? If so, with who and for how long?
Yes, I am engaged to my beautiful fiance Laura. We’ve been dating for a little over two years, and will be getting married this upcoming February.

25. Do you have kids? If so, how old and their names?
Two cats, Molly and Clyde. Molly is a sweet tabby cat, and Clyde is a dick.

26. Hobbies that you are currently into? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I volunteer at the HS where I work, in their video broadcast department. Throughout the week I train at Pro Start Fitness in Washington Twp, doing Boot Camp, Explosion, and Kick Boxing classes with my fiance. My brothers and I also belong to Mozart Lodge 121 of Freemasons, and participate in meetings, and different functions throughout the year.

27. Anything you would like to share with other brothers through the blog regarding your relationship/family/personal life?
Never pass up the opportunity to tell someone how much they mean to you.

Proud to be a Brother
