Spring 2014 Pledge Pinning - Alpha Gamma Class

The Spring 2014 pledge pinning for the Alpha Gamma class will be Tuesday, February 18th at 9:00 pm in the James Education Building, room 3091.

For those unaware, the James Education Building is the new education building that is new the sports fields/Wilson hall/the Rec center.

For those interested in getting dinner beforehand, I (and whoever else interested) will be going to PB's Diner at 7:00 PM for dinner and to catch up before the pinning ceremony. Please RSVP through the comments if you are joining us that way I know how many to expect.

Fall 2013 Pledge Pinning

The Fall 2013 Pledge Pinning is scheduled for this Sunday, September 29th, 2013 at 5:00 PM. This will be for the Alpha Beta class of our chapter.  The location is in the Whitney Center honors classroom. That is apparently on the 2nd floor and to the left when you come out of the elevator.

17?!?!?

After 24 pledge classes as a chapter, 4 as a colony, and the founders, it is safe to say the 30th time was the charm.  Last night word went out that the chapter had 17 accepted bids of membership, the largest such number in the chapter's history.  To put it in perspective, it took 2 years to hit badge 25 at chartering and another 2 years to reach 43.  

Introducing the Omegas

I'm happy to say the chapter pinned its 24th pledge class as a chapter October 3rd.  Surrounding the Omegas were members of the chapter, numerous alumni (including a healthy showing of the ex-GP Club), guests, and Kelvin Rodriguez, Rowan's Coordinator of Greek Affairs. Following a productive rush, the chapter pinned 10 men, the largest  Fall pledge class in the chapter's history.
