After 24 pledge classes
as a chapter, 4 as a colony, and the founders, it is safe to say the 30th
time was the charm. Last night word went out that the chapter had 17
accepted bids of membership, the largest such number in the chapter's history.
To put it in perspective, it took 2 years to hit badge 25 at chartering
and another 2 years to reach 43.
This success is another
indicator that the ideals and characteristics the founders instilled in the
organization back in 1998 have carried on and resonate with students 15 years
later. Over the years, undergraduates have established NJ Epsilon as the
best Greek organization at Rowan and across all of Phi Kappa Psi. The Alpha Alpha class is another building
block in which NJ Epsilon will use to live and flourish.
Pinning is this
Wednesday, Feb 20th at 9 PM in the Education building, room 3117. As always, alumni, family, significant
others, friends, and other guests are invited and encouraged to attend.
Prior to pinning, a group of us will meet at PB's Diner at 7 PM. This is a newer tradition that has developed over the past few semesters. It is not like the alumni dinner as alumni are not asked to share the costs for dinner. It is simply an opportunity for the group to gather prior to pinning.

Congratulations to the
chapter and welcome to the Alpha Alphas.
