Event: Field of Dreams

Description:

This is a service event that the chapter is running the last day of Fall Rush. It is a big deal for the chapter and we are apparently receiving a very special gift from the 2014 graduating class. It would be great to have a lot of alumni show up and the undergrads are really hoping for a large turnout overall.

Event details from Jaried Kimberley:

Event starts at 9-9:30 AM (depending on arrival time of rushes) we will begin laying "glorified mulch" across the new field for the playground.

Throughout the day construction will occur and alumni/undergrads will be given the captains tour of the field and the new playground.

Throughout the day there will be games going on on the baseball field that brothers may have the opportunity to participate in with the kids. These kids need people to play with them since they have debilitating diseases.

This is a very fun and heart warming event and there's a special present to the chapter from the graduating class of 2014.

At 2:30 there will be a ribbon cutting for the new playground.
