7. Story behind how you got your nickname, if you remember it? 

Ryan Wolvin, my big and educator, gave it to me because of my inability to read aloud from paper.

8. Your fondest memory of being a Phi Psi? 

Seeing NJE announced as the Grand Chapter at GAC and all of us going on stage to collect it.

9. Your most embarrassing moment as a Phi Psi? 

I put a hole in the ceiling of the basement.

10. Any fraternal advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today? 

Enjoy your time but think about what you are leaving for those who will enter the chapter after you. My choices that will leave the chapter stronger than when you pledged.

11. When was the last time you visited Rowan or the chapter? 

Thursday... You'll understand better when you see my current employment

12. What is favorite event the chapter holds? 

I love attending initiation when I can.

Graduate Coordinator for Greek Affairs at Rowan University

1.5 years

20. Any career advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today? 

Branch out and make friends in a variety of related, but different fields if possible. You never know when or where an opportunity might arise.

21. What's one piece of advice you'd give every undergraduate about networking? 

Don't be shy. Practice introducing yourself whenever you can, even with your peer. I always found that to be the difficult part. The rest of the conversation should flow easier.

Relationships/Family/Personal Stuff: 

22. Are you currently in a relationship? If so, with who and for how long? 

I have been with Erin Bondi for a little over a year.

23. Hobbies that you are currently into? What do you like to do in your spare time? 

I'm enjoying going to the gym and playing league of legends.

24. Anything you would like to share with other brothers through the blog regarding your relationship/family/personal life?

I've applied to Stanford University, The University of Delaware, and Michigan State University for PhDs in Mathematics Education. I should be hearing back some time in the next month or so if I have been accepted. [Editor's Note: Since answering these questions, Bernie has been accepted into the University of Delaware]
