8. Your fondest memory of being a Phi Psi?
WOW- I could honestly write a list of hundreds of memories that I am incredibly fond of... for instance:
- Chaty and I being initiated on the 27th, and claiming, that was the day the fraternity was "really" founded!
- The night Don Steever got his nickname (seriously ask Don or I about that).
- Weidman almost beating up a security guard!
- Steve Brahney's comment at initiation!
- The day Joe Gillies became my first little!
- The fraternity house burning down, and my Guinea pig getting mouth to mouth by a fire fighter!
- The one that I would have to call my fondest.. The day our colony became a chapter. It wasn't because we had finally become a chapter, because to be honest, I knew we deserved to be a chapter for a long time, it was just a matter of logistics. The thing that I remember the most was what my parents said to me at the initiation dinner! They told me that they were proud of me for helping to create something that effected so many people in such a positive way. My parents hated the idea of fraternities, until they met my brothers. They saw that we were all different, and we were not just friends, but we were seriously family. They knew that a lot of those people would still be my very good friends today, and they were 100% right!
I can't write that here, so you would have to contact me to find out... I also know Steve Brahney's most embarrassing moment! There were a lot of embarrassing moments for me!
10. Your proudest moment as a Phi Psi?
Joe Gillies becoming my first little!
11. Any unique memories from your time as a Phi Psi?
SO MANY! I would love to come and share with everyone!
- Steve Brahney throwing a gutter at the Theta Chi house.
- Chaty and I explaining to a sorority, why we joined the fraternity.
- The day I found out my best friend Rob and his Wife Amanda were pregnant!
- All of the parties in Rob and My apartment.
- Meeting Chris Hammer! Yup I remember the first time I met him!
- Rich R. playing the song "blue" over and over and over and over again at the student center, until someone paid him to change it!
12. Any fraternal advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
Remember that these are some of the best times you will ever have, and will help develop your future. Enjoy the people you are with, because if you are lucky, they will be a part of your life for a LONG time!
13. When was the last time you visited Rowan or the chapter?
Way to long ago, and I am very sorry for that!
14. What is your favorite event the chapter holds?
Formal!
15. Who's the 1 brother you want to reconnect with / see interviewed here?
I think there are a few levels to that question.
