Edward A. Bienz but most people know me by Alex, which is my middle name.

Forked River, NJ. But planning on getting a job in the Philly area come this summer so a good chance this will have to be updated.

7. Story behind how you got your nickname, if you remember it?
Bernie knew me from having worked together and said that everything I am involved in I add a little spice to it.
8. Your fondest memory of being a Phi Psi?
Watching Kung Fu movies with Newby on a day off. Have to say that was where we truly realized our friendship. I miss that the most. The simple day to day of hanging out with a brother and sharing a good time.
9. Your most embarrassing moment as a Phi Psi?
I am pleading the 5th on that one.
10. Your proudest moment as a Phi Psi?
Getting my Little brother Kevin.
11. Any unique memories from your time as a Phi Psi?
Getting to go to ALA. It was a great experience and if you can save up for the plane ticket get there!
12. Any fraternal advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
Enjoy every day of your time with your brothers.
13. When was the last time you visited Rowan or the chapter?
Alumni BBQ 2012. I think.
14. What is favorite event the chapter holds?
Formals are a great time!

Ryan McNamara. He has figured out how to use snapchat so I get those from him now.
Career Stuff:
17. Year you graduated from Rowan?
N/A. I left in 2010 or 11. I transferred to Kean and I am graduating this August with my B.A. in History.
18. Any advanced degrees or certifications you have?
Nothing yet. Starting to look at masters programs in history, history education, or historic preservation.
19. You're current occupation?
Student.
20. Number of years in that occupation?
Too Many…
21. Any career advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
Never give up on something… Set goals. But always be flexible to other possible outcomes to your goals.
22. What's one piece of advice you'd give every undergraduate about networking?
In every class, you take make a new friend because you never know what they will go off to become.
Relationships/Family/Personal Stuff:
23. Are you currently in a relationship? If so, with who and for how long?
Yes! I have been dating my current girlfriend Alli for a year on March 2nd.
24. Do you have kids? If so, how old and their names?
No kids.
25. Hobbies that you are currently into? What do you like to do in your spare time?
If I had more spare time, I would be going camping and backpacking.
26. Anything you would like to share with other brothers through the blog regarding your relationship/family/personal life?
Sorry, I haven't been around as much… The chapter has been on my mind a lot recently. I am going to be looking for a job in the Philly area and I promise that I will stop by and check in. That being said I would like to thank you for an interview and I am always proud to be a Phi Psi… I will see you all soon, be well and Amici.
