6. Fraternity Nickname, if you remember it?
Sexy Pumpkin
7. Story behind how you got your nickname, if you remember it?
I had this pumpkin wind-up toy that I got around Halloween of my sophomore year (I believe). I used to imitate its moves. I'm also sexy and round.
8. Your fondest memory of being a Phi Psi?
I'm sure it's cliche, but while I was in school, every brother was always there for me. My last semester probably should have been pretty awful, but in the end, it was the best semester I had while at school.
9. Your most embarrassing moment as a Phi Psi?
I don't get embarrassed too easily, and I'd be lying if I said I could remember. The only thing that sticks out is before I was a brother and after I graduated, and I don't think I should share those here.
10. Your proudest moment as a Phi Psi?
Again, having memory issues, but I'll go with getting in.
11. Any unique memories from your time as a Phi Psi?
This was before I rushed. I remember watching The Skulls with everyone and thinking it would be a good idea to rush the fraternity. I was pretty pissed when the money wasn't in my bank account...
12. Any fraternal advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
While my memory is shoddy, the time I had in Phi Psi was a great one. Definitely be involved and don't do it just to do it. Commit.
13. When was the last time you visited Rowan or the chapter?
2004?
14. What is favorite event the chapter holds?
Ummmm.....pass
15. Who's the 1 brother you want to reconnect with / see interviewed here?
There's multiple people. Just because I move to NYC doesn't mean I disappeared.
16. Name 1 friend you made in NJE you still keep in touch with...
Gillies, Chad...
Career Stuff:
17. Year you graduated from Rowan?
2003
18. Degree(s) you graduated Rowan with?
RTF
19. Any advanced degrees or certifications you have?
n/a
20. Your current occupation?
Tech coordinator at a casting studio/acting university and I also work at MLB.com as a video production assistant
21. Number of years in that occupation?
3 for both
22. Any career advice you would give to an undergraduate Phi Psi today?
I have tons. If you're an RTF major and want to be bitter about life, you should probably talk to me. I definitely agree with the recent RTF graduate that was interviewed about being involved on campus in clubs pertaining to your field. But while that is great and good, it doesn't necessarily help your career. Just be aggressive. If you're RTF, learn editing, camera, lighting, everything. The more you know, the easier it will be to get a job. It's also very difficult to get a job at first, but once you do, network network network! Be the guy that people want to work with. And remember that anybody could be your boss at some point so be nice to everyone.
23. What's one piece of advice you'd give every undergraduate about networking?
Basically covered it at the end of the last rant. Like I said, be aggressive. And don't think you are "better" than Facebook. It's a valuable tool.
Relationships/Family/Personal Stuff:
24. Are you currently in a relationship? If so, with who and for how long?
Yes, my wife Becky and it's been 3 1/2 years.
25. Do you have kids? If so, how old and their names?
No
26. Hobbies that you are currently into? What do you like to do in your spare time?
Don't have much right now because of the 2 jobs, but regular things like watching tv/movies, going to concerts, going to sporting events, etc.
